Nestled into a forest, 8 suites are elevated above the landscape and extend out to private decks with glittering plunge pools and breath-taking views. Living spaces merge sophisticated elegance, natural colours and organic materials with the untouched beauty of the location. Superb meals and fine wines are savoured whilst gazing out over floodplains, papyrus and palms, and central areas include viewing decks, a gym, massage room and library. Accommodation 2 nights in Tent
Meal basis Fully Inclusive

On the edges of the permanent Okavango Delta, in an exclusive 25,000 hectare wildlife concession, south-east of Moremi Game Reserve, is the sleek Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp. Set on its own Delta island, Xaranna boasts solitude and sweeping views over the vast floodplains and permanent channels.

Taking its inspiration from the water lily Xaranna has just nine en-suite safari tents, a combination of canvas and bleached timber. The tents are organic in design and delicately decorated in more feminine shades of khaki, soft lily pink and green, reflecting the Delta environment. Each tent boasts four-poster beds, air-conditioning, hairdryer, an indoor bathtub, outdoor shower, private plunge pool and romantic sala with breath-taking views into the surrounding channels. In keeping with the gentle geography of the Delta the overall atmosphere of the camp is cool, light and airy. There is an intimate sitting and spacious reading area, dining area with shady verandas that lead onto an open air boma for candlelit dinners under the stars. Guest areas have been carefully positioned to maximise the sweeping channel views. A well-stocked safari shop completes the camp.

Activities at Xaranna include game drives, guided walking safaris (guide availability dependent) and boating and mokoro adventures which are water level dependent.

Jacks Camp

Accommodation 3 nights in Luxury Tent

Located on the edge of the vast and desolate Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana, is an oasis of style and comfort, Jack’s Camp. Named after the legendary Jack Bousfield, this extra-ordinary tented camp lies in a palm grove with spectacular vistas over one of the harshest landscapes of the African continent.
Guests are accommodated in ten green, roomy canvas tents, fashioned in classical 1940’s style with a few creative surprises. Tents include en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers. Persian rugs underfoot, high four poster beds, cool cotton sheets and mahogany and brass campaign-style furniture form a striking contrast with the rugged wilderness viewed from the comfort of one’s own veranda. Tents are strung out along the palm line with sandy walk ways leading to the camp’s hub. A romantic green canvas pavilion houses a drinks tent, library tent as well as a museum with a collection of fascinating local artefacts and an elegantly appointed communal dining table is where everyone meets for meals. Other facilities include a pavilion swimming pool, decadent tea tent and a shop tent.
Regular activities from Jack’s Camp include magic encounters with the friendly Meerkats, informative Bushman interactions, visits to Chapman’s Baobab, expert guiding of the unique desert wildlife and star gazing. In addition to these regular activities, the wet season ushers in the spectacular sight of the annual zebra and wildebeest migration, and the dry season allows guests the opportunity to explore the vast Makgadikgadi saltpans on quad bikes.
